Only 10 minutes from Newcastle city centre, we are directly opposite Hadrian Road Metro Station and a short distance from many of Newcastle’s sights, including the Millennium Bridge and shopping.
While staying at our hotel you will be able to take advantage of our location. After enjoying our complimentary breakfast you can jump on the metro and be in the centre of Newcastle in minutes.Our staff are there to help and ensure your stay with us is both enjoyable and relaxing. All of our bedrooms are strictly non-smoking.
If you are walking along Hadrian's Wall, we can provide packed lunches, and our large car park (over 50 spaces) is ideal to leave your car for a small daily fee (for nights you are not staying with us).

Please note if 3 or more rooms are booked at the same time, full payment is required by the hotel one month prior to arrival. Any cancellations made after this date will only be refunded if the rooms are re-sold.

A continental breakfast is available every day and is included in the quoted room rates. Breakfast consists of a selection of cereals, fruit segments, yogurts, freshly brewed regular coffee and tea, and toast with fruit preserves and butter.
The Hadrian Lodge Hotel is situated on the main road into Newcastle City Centre from the a187 Wallsend (tyne tunnel), we are 10 minutes from the centre by taxi, and the same by using the modern Metro system, accessed directly opposite the hotel (hadrian road metro station). Please note there are two Hadrian Roads in Newcastle. One is in the West End by Wingrove Road, we are in the East End going directly to the Tyne Tunnel a187.
